Dressing to flatter your figure
One of the things I find fascinating about shopping for wedding dresses is how many different styles of wedding dresses there are. Apart from this, there are different necklines, sleeve lengths, dress lengths etc and it can be a bit overwhelming! But... it does not have to be so. If you are looking to enjoy your wedding dress shopping experience, it is a good idea to prepare for it. Start by figuring out (or having someone assess) what your body shape is. Then determine what your style personality is and then aim to highlight those parts of your body that are flattering and most attractive. This will help you pick a wedding dress that suits your shape and personality and flatters your figure.
Everyone has their dream wedding dress and it is okay to want to get married in a dress you have been dreaming about all your life. But if the dress does not work for your shape or personality, it is also okay to change your mind and get married in a dress that is more suited to who you are. At your wedding, you will be the cynosure of all eyes and you will also take pictures that last forever so why "manage" a dress when you can be a stunner in one? 😀
My advice? Before you rush off to buy your dream dress or any dress for that matter, ask yourself if it is the best dress for your shape, personality and figure and try it out too. If it is, great! If it is not, your stunning dress is still patiently waiting for you. 😊
