Drink to feel and look great
If you had to choose one drink
to have for the rest of your life, what would you choose? I'll choose water because without it, no living thing – plant or animal can survive for very long. It is that important!
Water is the most
important nutrient because it sustains life. It transports nutrients around the body, aids digestions, eliminates waste, regulates body temperature, helps to keep
all the organs functioning properly, works to keep the muscles and skin toned and supple, renews youthfulness and aids in weight loss too!
I know some people
find drinking water painfully hard and I appreciate this. Water is just…. well
water. It’s pretty much the same tasteless, odourless, clear liquid we all have
been drinking since we were babies but we can't give up on drinking it now. It is so easy to get so busy that we forget to rehydrate but as much as possible, it is important to try to get that water in especially at this time.
It is recommended that we drink at least 8 cups of water daily which is
equivalent to 1.9 litres, however, this is just a general guideline and it does
not prevent anyone from having more. So drink as much as you possibly can everyday. You will feel more energised and less stressed, your
skin will look better and your organs will thank you too. If you find water boring, consider adding fruits to your water for flavour and if you forget to drink, you can use an app to remind you and track how much you drink
daily.
Ultimately, when
you stand at the altar on your wedding day and everyone compliments you for how
radiant, beautiful and supple your skin looks, all that drinking will not seem
so bad after all.
So. Just. Drink. Up!
